How this site is paid for

This site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

If you follow a link from this site to Amazon and buy something, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change the price you pay.

Every outbound product link on this site is a plain, visible Amazon link carrying our tracking tag. There are no redirect hops, no link cloaking and no intermediate domains. You can see exactly where a link goes before you click it.

What the commission does and does not change

Commission does not decide rankings. The order on the home page follows the stated weighting on the about page, and several picks here are among the cheapest products in their category, which earns less than recommending expensive ones would.

We are not paid for placement, we do not publish sponsored posts, and no maker has been given review of any page before publication.

The honest conflict worth naming: we earn more when you buy something, which means we have a reason to tell you to buy something. The counterweight we can offer is that this site repeatedly tells you when the answer is a cheaper product, an accessory you already have, or nothing at all.

About the prices on this site

Prices are shown as bands, checked on October 27, 2026.

Prices move constantly, so this site shows the band a product sat in when we checked rather than a figure to the cent. The price on the Amazon listing at the moment you buy is the one that applies.

Where a listing's price looked wrong when we checked, for example a multi-camera kit priced below the smaller kit in the same range, no band is shown and the card sends you to the listing instead of guessing.

Updated October 27, 2026 by Henrik Halvorsen. Specifications were checked against the Amazon listings on that date. Prices are shown as bands because they change week to week; the listing shows today's.
