What we collect

You can read every page on this site without an account, and we do not ask for one. We do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell data because we do not have any to sell.

Like nearly every site, our host records standard server logs: the page requested, a timestamp, and an address. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising tags or tracking pixels.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Your theme preference, light or dark, is stored in your own browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Amazon links

When you follow a product link to Amazon, Amazon knows you arrived from here and may set its own cookies under its own policy, which is where you should read about it. We receive aggregate reports about purchases, not information identifying you.

Video

The home page offers a YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; after that, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the player.

Email

If you email us we keep the message so we can reply and fix whatever you told us about. We do not add you to a mailing list and there is no mailing list to add you to.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights to ask what is held about you and to have it deleted. Write to us and we will do it.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes the date at the foot of the page changes with it.
