Wyze alternatives worth considering
People leave Wyze over the company's security record rather than over the hardware, which remains remarkable for the money.

Why people replace Wyze
Wyze has had publicised incidents, including an episode in which users briefly saw thumbnails from other households. Those have been documented in detail by the technology press, and they are a reasonable basis for choosing something else indoors.
The Tapo line is the natural replacement at similar prices: comparable specifications, microSD storage, and a parent company with a longer history in networking hardware. The C120 and C210P2 sit in the same price bracket as the Wyze v4.
If you keep Wyze hardware, the mitigations are the same ones that apply to any camera: record locally, use a password that exists nowhere else, enable two-factor authentication, and think twice about bedrooms.
